The Reimagining Criminal Justice national leadership team comprises senior justice and systems experts with extensive global connections, deep system knowledge, and a demonstrated commitment to meaningful reform. Individually, members have directed prominent national criminal justice system programmes, drawing on decades of senior-level experience. Together, this spans prisons, probation, systemic transformation, international justice modernisation, and community development.
Team members possess outstanding credentials, working with many government departments including the MoJ, Home Office, HM Treasury, Cabinet Office, DWP, DHSC, DfE, as well as with international criminal justice reform programmes sponsored by the FCDO and EU. The team also brings substantial VCSE sector experience at the national CEO level. With professional backgrounds spanning government, social enterprise, evaluation science, the voluntary sector and academia, this group has been convened to provide specialised expertise and deliver a strategic roadmap designed to guide the criminal justice system away from critical failure and towards sustainable improvement.
